كان قال أسامة أبو المجد، رئيس شعبة السيارات، إن الحكومة اتخذت قرارًا صائبًا بوقف استيراد سيارات ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة مؤقتًا، لحماية موارد الدولة ومنع استغلال هذه السيارات تجاريًا وأشار إلى أن بعض المواطنين يستغلون هذه الامتيازات بشراء “جوابات” من ذوي الهمم مقابل مبالغ مالية تصل إلى 100 ألف جنيه، مؤكدًا أن هذا السلوك يُكبد الدولة ملايين الجنيهات من الجمارك والضرائب المعفاة.
وكان خلال اجتماع ترأسه رئيس الوزراء الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي، تم التأكيد على استكمال الإجراءات الخاصة بحوكمة منظومة سيارات ذوي الهمم، مع استمرار منح الامتيازات الحقيقية للمستحقين فقط، وتكليف لجان لفحص مدى أهلية المستفيدين من السيارات، كما شدد رئيس الوزراء على إحالة من يثبت تورطه في التلاعب أو الاتجار بالبشر إلى القضاء بعد مهلة شهرين لتسوية الأوضاع، وهو ما يعكس جدية الدولة في ضبط هذه المنظومة.
أوضح الشحات غتوري، رئيس مصلحة الجمارك، أن السيارات الكهربائية الخاصة بذوي الهمم معفاة بالكامل من الجمارك والضرائب، مؤكدًا استمرار التحول إلى النظام الإلكتروني لتسهيل الإجراءات والتصدي لأي تلاعب.
وكان صرّح منتصر زيتون، عضو شعبة السيارات، بأن قرار إلغاء استيراد سيارات المعاقين جاء نتيجة لتزايد حالات التلاعب، حيث استغل البعض الإعاقة لبيع “جوابات” أو استخدامها للحصول على سيارات لأشخاص غير مستحقين وأكد زيتون أن القانون لا يسمح للمعاق بالحصول على أكثر من سيارة واحدة، ويشترط عدم التصرف فيها لمدة خمس سنوات كحد أدنى.
