للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة ..استعرضت وزارة الحج والعمرة، الخدمات المقدمة للأشخاص ذوي الهمم في الحرمين الشريفين في الترجمة والصلاة والتنقل.
وأضافت الوزارة أن خدمات الترجمة المقدمة لذوي الإعاقة تتمثل في تقديم خطبة الجمعة بلغة الإشارة، والمصاحف بلغة برايل، إلى جانب أقراص ممغنطة بلغة الإشارة.

وأشارت إلى تخصيص أماكن للصلاة للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة في صحن المطاف، وأماكن خاصة داخل الحرمين، لافتة إلى تخصيص ممشى ومسار عربات خاص، وكذلك عربات ومرافقين مخصصين.
كما أعلنت وزارة الحج والعمرة بالسعودية اعتماد مسمى الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة من خلال تطبيق اعتمرنا وذلك بعد أن قامت هيئة رعاية الأشخاص ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة بالتعاون مع الحج والعمرة على أنه سوف يتم اعتماد هذا المسمى ، حيث تحرص المملكة على الاهتمام بالمواطنين وخاصة من يملكون ظروف خاصة لأنهم فئة ليست صغيرة داخل المملكة، و لا يجب أن يتم تجاهلهم ويجب معاملتهم مثل الأشخاص العاديين حتى يكون هناك تكافل داخل المملكة العربية السعودية.
وأكدت أنه سوف يتم اعتماد مسمى الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقات في كل الخطابات الرسمية و التصريح الاعلامي، وذلك من خلال تطبيق اعتمرنا الإعاقة والذي يسهل لهم الخدمات ويقدم لهم كل التساهيل اللازمة لهم مما ادخل السرور في نفس الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، ويشعرهم بأنهم لهم قيمة في المجتمع.
وقال المهندس أحمد الراجحي رئيس مجلس إدارة رعاية الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة أنه يجب أن يتم توحيد هذا الاسم، فقد تم في الفترة الأخيرة إطلاق الكثير من المصطلحات على الأشخاص ذوي الهمم.
وذلك جعل هناك ارتباك في الكثير من المؤسسات والأشخاص الذين لا يتحدثون اللغة العربية في الندوات العالمية أو غيرها، ولكن سوف تكون المصطلح موحد في كل الخطابات الرسمية للحكومة السعودية حتى يضمن لهم الحصول على الحقوق كاملة وتوفير كافة الخدمات لهم، وعمل التأهيل اللازم إليهم.
