قال الدكتور صلاح هاشم، مستشار وزارة التضامن للسياسات الاجتماعية إنّ حزمة البرامج الاجتماعية التي تنفذها الدولة المصرية تجاوزت 354 مليار جنيه، وهو رقم قياسي يدل على أن الدولة المصرية، دولة تنموية رحيمة تقف بجوار أبنائها في ظل هذه الأزمة الاقتصادية الكبيرة، شارحًا أن وزارة التضامن لديها قاعدة بيانات مسجل بها 34 مليون مواطن مصري يحتاجون للدعم النقدي، ومنذ توجيه الرئيس عبدالفتاح السيسي بزيادة الأعداد تحت مظلة الحماية الاجتماعية، يجري العمل على تنقية تلك القاعدة وإضافة عناصر جيدة.

وأضاف مستشار وزير التضامن للسياسات الاجتماعية خلال حواره مع الإعلامية أسماء يوسف، ببرنامج «8 الصبح»، المذاع على شاشة «dmc»، أن معظم المتقدمين لتكافل وكرامة سيتم قبول طلباتهم في المرحلة المقبلة، حيث فضلت الوزارة التوسع الأفقي وليس الرأسي، حيث يجري العمل على التغطية الكاملة للمحتاجين بشكل أساسي، وفي المرحلة المقبلة سيتم العمل على زيادة قيمة الدعم المقدم لهذه الأسر وهناك قوائم انتظار للانضمام في هذا البرنامج، موضحا أنه لا يجوز للمواطن الحصول على دعم نقدي لمدة تزيد على 5 سنوات وإلا يكون تشجيع على الفقر وحتى لا يتكاسل المواطن، ولكن الهدف هو التعافي والتمكين الاقتصادي.
