استعرضت وزارة التضامن الاجتماعي تقريرًا عن استعدادات الوزارة للمشاركة فى الدورة الـ 27 لقمة الدول الأطراف فى اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة الإطارية بشأن تغير المناخ، والتى تستضيف فعالياتها مدينة شرم الشيخ فى نوفمبر المقبل.
أشار التقرير إلى عدة محاور عمل، أحدها خاص بإجراءات الإتاحة للأشخاص ذوى الهمم بمكان انعقاد القمة من تجهيز المرافق الخاصة بالقاعات لتكون مناسبة للأشخاص ذوى الهمم، وتهيئة الموقع الإلكترونى للمؤتمر ليكون مناسباً للمستخدمين من الأشخاص ذوى الهمم، وتوفير مختلف المطبوعات بطريقة برايل، ومترجمين للغة الإشارة، مع توفير الإتاحة البصرية والأجهزة المساعدة لهم، وذلك بالتنسيق مع الوزارات المختلفة.
وأضافت وزارة التضامن الاجتماعي أن التقرير استعرض كذلك المحور الخاص بملف المتطوعين لتوفير 1000 متطوع للمشاركة بالقمة مع التأكيد على تحقيق التنوع واحترام الاختلافات.
حيث قامت الوزارة بإطلاق موقع إلكترونى لاستقبال طلبات التطوع للمؤتمر من مصر وشباب القارة الإفريقية، وذوى الإعاقة للمشاركة من خلال التطوع فى هذا الحدث، وتم استقبال 9900 طلب للتطوع تم إخضاعها للمعايير الخاصة لاختيار ١٠٠٠ متطوع، وجار حاليا إجراء اختبارات لمن تم اختيارهم وتم البدء فى تدريب الشباب ممن تأهلوا لإعدادهم وتزويدهم بالمهارات اللازمة للحدث.

وأشارت إلى أن وزارة التضامن الاجتماعي تعمل على يوم المجتمع المدنى بالقمة، لإبراز دور وقصص نجاح المجتمع المدنى الفاعل فى مجال الحد من التغيرات المناخية مع مراعاة الأبعاد العالمية والإقليمية والمحلية على كل المستويات.
بالإضافة إلى طرح التحديات والدور الذى يمكن أن يقوم به المجتمع المدنى فيما بعد القمة بتقديم تجارب مختلفة تم تنفيذها بالفعل لصغار المزارعين والمبانى الخضراء والأمن الغذائى، وتشغيل الأشخاص ذوى الهمم فى مجال الطاقة الشمسية ومكافحة الفقر والعدالة المناخية، حيث تم التنسيق والتشاور مع منظمات المجتمع المدنى والتقدم بمقترحات لفعاليات مختلفة يتم تنظيمها بالشراكة مع المجتمع المدنى.
