قال الإعلامي أحمد فايق، مقدم برنامج «مصر تستطيع»، والمذاع على فضائية «DMC»، إن عددا كبيرا من الأهالي يتساءلون لماذا لم يتم تخصيص جزء للأطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، مستطردا: «ممكن يكون فيه ناس كتير متعاطفه مع الفكرة، وأنه من حق الطفل أيا ما كانت ظروفه أنه يلعب وينطلق في مكان وبيئة آمنة ودي أبسط حقوقه».
إنشاء حدائق لذوي الهمم
فيما أوضح خالد مصطفى، رئيس نادي روتاري الإسكندرية السابق، أنه تم توقيع بروتوكول منذ أشهر ينص على إنشاء حدائق لذوي الهمم، مناشدا رؤساء النوادي على مستوى الجمهورية توفير وإتاحة الفرصة لأبنائنا من ذوي الإعاقة
فيما أضافت ميرفت عكاشة، رئيس نادي روتاري الإسكندرية، أن اتجاه الدولة كله كان يصب في مصلحة ذوي الإعاقة، حتى قام نادي روتاري بإنشاء نادٍ لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة.
